  • I have been living in The Widow's Home for 11 years this month and I can't tell you what a blessing it has been for me. My check didn't cover all my meds and bills. I had used nearly all my savings. It was a blessing to move here... It is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, and we feel safe here. The Daughters of Zion are so good to us; they do everything to make us comfortable and happy. I thank God every day that I am honored to have a home here. May God bless the DOZ for all they do to help people in need.

  • I never thought that people who are not my family would help me so much. I have never taken my daughter to the doctor, because I had no money. Charlotte and you all are my angels. You all were preoccupied for me and my daughter, even in the most minimum details. X-Rays and clothes that I never thought I could provide for my daughter. In times of sickness you all have helped me. God bless you all because of what you all have done.
Mother of Andrea, daughter in need
  • I am reminded of a scripture that says...the Lord will bless the borders of the widows. I have lived in the DOZ home for widows for several years. I feel loved, safe and extremely blessed. The presence of the Lord is here.
Pauline Cobb | Resident of Zion's Home for Widows
